Creating an Atmosphere For Healing

“We must create an atmosphere for healing. A place where faith, Presence and power come together. Where the gifts of the Holy Spirit are released, and people take hold of God’s Word for their healing, freedom and wholeness. We must create a hunger for healing that will not be denied, a faith level that sees all things are possible.” “Healing is a present day reality yet to be realized.”

1.Healing the sick must become intentional

•We heal the sick because Jesus healed the sick and He told us to do the same •John 14:12-14, Matthew 10:7, Luke 10:1-9, Mark 16:15-18

•Healing is the evidence of the presence of the kingdom •Matthew 9:35, Luke 7:20-23

•We must make room for healing the sick •It takes time, energy and resources •We must become dedicated to healing the sick •Training •Books, CD’s, Manuals •Investment of yourself •Somebody needs to do the work •We are all commissioned to go We have found that more people get healed in healing rooms and healing ministry training than during a healing service. Most people need more time and ministry to receive their healing. Healing Evangelist have said they are happy with 10% of the people getting healed. We have seen in our training weekends 100% of the people where healed. Over 2000 healed and 500 trained to heal the sick, Tennessee, Kentucky and Missouri John G. Lake healing rooms in Spokane Washington saw over 100,000 people with documented healing in a five period. That amounts to about 65 people a day.

2. Healing the sick is foundational and fundamental to the Gospel message

•Healing is in the atonement. •Isaiah 53:1-5, Matthew 8:16,17, 1Peter 2:24, James 4:13-16, Psalm 103:1-3 •God’s Word reveals His Character, who He is, “I Am” He does not change, its His character •Exodus 15:26 •The revelation of God’s character is an invitation to us to experience Him in His character in that revelation •Numbers 21:4-9, Romans 10:12-13, Acts 2:17-21 •Saved in the Greek is the word sozo •To be safe, to keep safe and sound, to rescue from danger or destruction •To save a suffering one from perishing from disease, to make well, to heal, to restore to health, to be whole, to heal, make whol

3. Healing, sozo, and deliverance is a process activated by faith

•Mark 5:25-34, Acts 14:8-10, Acts 5:12-16 •Faith comes by hearing the word of God •Romans 10:17, Psalm 19-21, John 8:32 •Gifts of the Holy Spirit •Gift of faith by the Holy Spirit •The word of knowledge by the Holy Spirit •1Corinthians 12:7-11 •Feel it, Read it, See it, Think it, Say it, Dream it, Experience it •Sometimes the manifestation of healing takes time •Some the next day, some over two years •Medical healing is a process also •Divine healing sometimes takes a change of mind, attitude and actions •We cannot keep doing what we have been doing and expect different results •John 5:1-15 •We have been redeemed from the curse of the law •Galatians 3:13 •The victory is already won •We enforce that victory so that every knee will bow in defeat to the Lordship of Jesus

•Healing the sick is a command, it is God’s will to heal them all •We must settle that fact in our own heart first •We are the messages of the Good News, the conduit through which heaven touches earth •We are His hands, feet, and voice to lost and dying world •W. W. J. D. He would heal their sick

I believe we will all give an account of what we did with this great message. Did we become the witness of Jesus according to Acts 1? Are we willing to do the work? Are we willing to become the Proof Producers? It takes commitment. It takes intentionality. It takes resources.

4. The power of the testimony to heal the sick

•Luke 8:34-39, Psalm 105:1, Isaiah 63:7-9, Revelation 19:10 •What the Lord has done for others He will do for you •Healing testimonies became regular •People where being healed every week in Healing Rooms and at the altar •We created an atmosphere for healing and the supernatural manifestation of God •We believed that was going to heal them all with no exceptions •There was a sense of expectation in the air and people would be looking to see what God would do next •It takes compassion and your faith works by love 1 Corinthians 13:1-8a, Galatians 5:6a, James 2:14-18
